DescriptionThe Regional Inside Sales Manager is responsible for managing the Inside Sales business plan for the assigned accounts and is also responsible for new business growth in the Small-Mid Market. The Sales Manager works closely with the Inside Sales team to ensure they have the tools and resources necessary to successfully penetrate into the assigned accounts to grow all lines of business. The Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales strategies, training initiatives and margin management activities of their overall book of business. They will identify, recruit, interview, manage, coach, develop and performance manage the assigned team of Inside Account Managers. The Sales Manager will work with their Director and other Sales Managers in coordinating plans to grow sales and margin results to meet key metrics and objectives.
  •  Manages, Coaches and Mentors the Inside team to ensure successful growth targets are being met  
  • Provides guidance on goals and objectives through clear, effective, timely and constructive feedback to employees. 
  •  Manages and provides leadership including training, sales coaching, and performance evaluations
  • Call monitoring & side by side coaching sessions are done on a regular basis with feedback provided to ensure sales skills development  
  •  Works closely with Sales Managers of Specialty lines to ensure there are penetration plans in place for all lines of business  
  •  Strong SFDC user; comfortable creating reporting, managing data, training associates and ensuring sales representatives are compliant with tracking all customer interaction
  •  Ability to coach, lead, motivate and performance manage for results 
  •  Ability to set targets and design growth plans
  •  Demonstrates strong team building attributes
  •  Strong analytical skills and the ability to multi-task
  •  Demonstrates consultative selling skills
  •  Computer literacy, including above average competency in SFDC, Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint 
  •  Primarily working in office environment.
  •  Travel – May be required to travel to National Office and conference locations
  • 3 years direct management experience required 
  • Minimum 5 years of selling experience, penetrating and winning accounts with a proven track record of success  
  • Previous office product industry experience is an asset 
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of telephone sales and the sales planning process 
  • Experienced in coaching for results, with a demonstrated positive leadership style 
  • Post secondary education in business related discipline – Diploma or Degree preferred.
