Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide clear direction, coordination and distribution of the in-house courier’s daily delivery route
  • Act as a liaison between the Furniture Installation Supervisor, Delivery Personnel, Sales Staff and Customer Service in order to guarantee prompt delivery to customers
  • Collaborate with the Furniture Installation Supervisor in the pursuit of operational and customer service excellence
  • Responsible to work with the team on problem resolution to maintain highest levels of customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate drivers and third party installers
  • Keep track of delivery signatures and reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, AS 400
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must work well under minimal supervision
  • Customer-service oriented
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Previous experience in a customer service roll as plus and must have computation/mathematical ability and reading comprehension
  • Knowledge of PC applications necessary including Outlook and basic PC knowledge
  • Eagerness and ability to learn, absorb new information quickly
  • Have the initiative to work with minimal instruction and direction
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Responsible and mature and possess a sense of urgency required to work in a deadline driven environment
  • Must have strong organizational and motivational skills and attention to detail
  • High degree of accuracy including follow-up
