he Real Estate Paralegal is expected, with Lease
Administration supervision, to perform a number of Real Estate department legal
support functions. Key areas include working directly with Staples Lease
Administration team, Staples attorneys and Landlords for processing all
Estoppels, SNDA’s and other real estate documents. The associate will be
expected to independently manage and prioritize a combination of recurring
projects and one-time tasks, requiring a keen attention to detail and often
involving quick turnarounds and decision-making.
Position Responsibilities
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to support efficient
delivery of legal services as they relate to Real Estate and Lease
Administration
• Draft, issue and complete all Estoppel requests for Real
Estate
• Manage the SNDA process through to County and/or State
filings
• Identify and gather relevant electronic and paper
documents through internal database tools and relationships with other data
analytics teams
• Manage process of all Real Estate lease document execution
• Conduct research and analyze data from a variety of
sources
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed
• Interface with in house counsel, outside counsel, and
internal business partners
• Assist with maintaining landlord date base with all
current contact information and changes to Landlord banking information

•Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and databases
•Strong organizational and time management skills, highly motivated, with attention to detail
•Notary Public
•Articulate communicator and ability to work directly with 3rd parties in both cooperative and potentially adversarial scenarios
•Ability to work independently
•Must be sensitive to working with confidential information
•Paralegal experience preferred
