Position Summary:
Primary responsibilities are to manage and own the strategic corporate relationship with clients/subsidiaries and partners for key top customers. Develops strategic business plan to drive revenue growth and penetration within assigned account base. SAM’s manage books of business typically over $2M and very large, complex Enterprise accounts.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and own the strategic corporate relationship between client/subsidiaries/partners and Staples Promotional Products
- Develop strategic plan to grow sales and margin within the assigned clients for all Staples Promotional Products lines of business
- Work with other Lines of Business to introduce and drive incremental revenue opportunities
- Conducts meetings and presentations with key account stake holders to drive sales and insure excellent customer experience
- Provides direction and leadership to all internal departments that support customer – SPO, Merchandising, Customer Service – to insure client needs are met
- Responsible for sales budgets and margin attainment - Ongoing
- Responsible for negotiating contract extensions and insuring all contract terms are adhered to
- Understand, communicate and interpret brand direction for all account team members
- Provide leadership & direction on client merchandise needs
- Recommend new products ideas to drive brand objectives
- Analyze our current position to identify discrepancies with client goals and develop a shared vision
- Travel to various key locations to promote our total range of services
- Participation at on-site events
- Schedule/Manage Client Business Reviews and lead strategic discussions at reviews
