We are
looking for a smart, passionate, and strategic driven IT Recruiter to join our
Staples team. You will work with cutting edge recruiting tools that will help
you identify top notch talent for Staples Digital Solutions.
As a
member of the Staples Talent Acquisition team you will be supporting our
Staples Digital Solutions organization which includes eCommerce, Cyber
Security, Data Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, and Cloud
Computing. You will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment efforts including
pipelining, sourcing, and qualifying candidates for open or future positions, interview
candidates, negotiate offers and hiring applicants to fill open requisitions.
This is a highly collaborative role, working with hiring managers and HR
business partners to build a team of talented individuals that will support a
best in class organization.
Functional
Recruiting Capability
• Recruit
for professional level positions within our Staples Digital Solutions organization
• Develop
plans to source qualified candidates and increase applicant pools
• Drive
candidate flow through our recruitment marketing and digital sourcing tools
• Conduct
effective intake meetings and communicate frequently to ensure alignment of plan
•
Negotiate offers with candidates
Key
Responsibilities
• Partner
with hiring manager to identify qualified candidates, seek feedback, and make
hiring recommendations
• Clearly
articulate the Staples employer value proposition and the opportunity this
creates for potential candidates to advance their career
• Clearly
communicate with candidates Staples associate value proposition, company
culture, expectations, and alignment between job opportunities and candidate
skills
• Leverage
recruitment and market data to help to identify obstacles, determine solutions,
and provide visibility for the business
• Provide
timely updates to hiring managers with information regarding market place,
obstacles, and work with manager to identify solutions
• Identify
process issues and make recommendations for improvement
•
Collaborate with hiring managers and HR team to ensure standard hiring
processes are followed
• Leverage
available tools and resources to increase diversity of applicant pool
• Mentor
other recruiters
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 3-5 years of full life cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced,
action-oriented environment
• 2 years of IT recruitment
focused within network/cyber security, cloud technologies, software
engineering, machine learning and data science
• Experience working in a team
oriented, high-volume technical recruiting model
• Ability to use innovative
techniques to meet the staffing needs of the business
• Proven experience managing
multiple competing priorities simultaneously, strong prioritization/time
management skills, self-directed/result-oriented
• Experience providing
fact-based assessments of talent to provide clear recommendations
• Strong communication (both
written and oral) skills
• Must maintain and exude
strong sense of urgency and integrity
Preferred
•Bachelor’s degree
•Experience in a corporate
recruiting environment
