DescriptionPosition Summary
This is a critical sales-driving and demand shifting role within the SBG/Merchandising organization. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop the strategic roadmap needed to drive incremental SBG EBITDA$
- Lead all demand shift and assortment curation/matching initiatives in partnership with VP SBG and VP/GMMs of Merchandising and Portfolio; Own supporting project plans
- Benchmark key online competitors to inform strategy and improve customers experience; Communicate the SBG digital roadmap to NAD sales and SDS leadership teams
- Act as liaison on behalf of SBG to other strategic stakeholders to gain alignment around SBG and stakeholders’ respective initiatives (e.g., Membership, Digital, Demand Shift, Supply Chain, Pricing, etc.)
Key Job Responsibilities

- Drives strategy and oversees execution of all SBG digital demand shift initiatives
- Accountable for delivering $15M in adjusted margin$ growth through demand shift leadership
- Responsible for identifying/improving/optimizing overall customer experience with SBG for NAD sites

- High level of aptitude for test/learn/scale approach required
- High level of tolerance for working with ambiguity, advocating/influencing/developing innovations to drive EBITDA growth
- Strong ability to partner with Supply Chain and SDS teams to develop AI and algorithms to enable demand shift initiatives
Communication/Interactions: Internal & External Customers / Suppliers as well as Third Parties
- Dir/VP/SVP audience - Develops agenda and leads re-occurring cross-functional digital initiative meetings with this senior audience
- VP+ audience – Leads all program work for demand shift/matching initiatives with senior teams from Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Pricing
- Sales leadership (VP+) – Responsible for developing and communicating strategies that require socialization and buy in from this senior audience to grow sales digitally
People Leadership
- High level of leadership through cross-functional multi-discipline program strategy development, and oversight of execution thru cross-functional teams
Business Strategy
- Develops 12-18 month eCommerce strategy and roadmap for SBG digital initiatives
- Contributes to long term eCommerce roadmap
KPIs– Key Performance Indicators
- SBG sales, adjusted margin$, and EBITDA growth
- SBG sales penetration improvement
- SBG digital sales and customer experience improvement
QualificationsEducation/Experience Equivalent
- 7-10 years Merchandising and/or Marketing & eCommerce
- MBA or Master’s Degree in related field
Professional Knowledge/Experience
- Must bring strong and well-established relationship to key stakeholders in SDS/eCom organization
Other Skills
- eCommerce and digital product management (e.g., Search, digital demand levers, etc.)
