The Senior Archer Business/Technical Analyst will be responsible for enhancing Archer functionality at Staples and further extending our enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (eGRC) program. This person will employ the Archer platform to automate processes within several business areas to help the organization manage policies, govern existing programs, identify and analyze risk, and demonstrate compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience with Archer, Governance Risk & Compliance programs, and leading efforts to develop/grow eGRC programs. In addition, the ideal candidate will implement, integrate, maintain, and report/monitor security and compliance risk management procedures to reduce financial loss and support critical business services.  They will be responsible for translating business requirements into the Archer platform functionality via workflow, configuration, and integration development. 

Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Analyzing business functions, requirements, and eGRC tenets and implementing software enhancements within the Archer Platform Use Cases and Applications to meet those needs.
  • Understanding business challenges; mapping current business processes to the new system or service, determining interface requirements, and resolving any issues which may affect the business process.
  • Supporting solution design, architecture, and configuration, data analytics and reporting, data collection and system integration, and information delivery processes that provide a concise overview of the Security, Risk, and Compliance program posture.
  • Providing guidance regarding best practices use of the Archer toolset.
  • Conducting user sessions with business owners to draw out requirements.
  • Designing and delivering Archer platform solutions based on business requests.
  • Conducting UAT activities to ensure solution meets desired requirements.
  • Collaborating with various teams to ensure a complete solution is delivered including all inbound/outbound data integration components.
  • Developing dashboards to measure activity.
  • Determining metrics to measure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Preparing system documentation including software specifications and procedures.
  • Supporting the development of training and awareness materials pertaining to all implemented use cases, applications, content, and data.
  • Problem solving difficult or conflicting requirements.
  • Collaborating with Archer Administrator to effectively manage the platform.
  • Managing production and non-production instances from a functionality perspective to ensure the environments maintain integrity.
  • Providing day-to-day functional support and subject matter expertise for the Archer platform across a diverse group of business areas.
  • Contributing to planning the Archer platform implementation roadmap.
  • Collaborating with other business and technical teams in regard to the evolution of the Archer infrastructure (e.g., cloud deployment, data integration approaches, etc.)

Basic Skills:
  • Exceptional Proficiency with RSA’s Archer GRC Platform – version 6 and greater
  • Exceptional knowledge and understanding of eGRC concepts and implementations
  • Subject matter expertise in eGRC solutions and ability to translate key business problems into tool framework to support Policy, Risk, and Compliance.
  • Ability to learn, enhance, and drive deliverables to ensure longevity of eGRC program including ability to develop and define eGRC platform and program strategies.
  • Proficient in developing requirements definition, functional specifications, test scenarios/scripts, data models and business procedures
  • Experience with process development and deployment
  • Knowledge of security and internal control frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, COBIT, COSO, etc.
  • Experience with the implementation and management of compliance requirements such as PCI DSS, SOX, GLBA, GDPR, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective customer service and customer focus along with the ability to manage customer expectations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent related work experience 

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with DataPower API Management software
  • Understanding of various operating environments including Windows, Unix, Linux, Cisco, VMWare, etc.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to network within the Archer community and establish relationships as appropriate.
  • Practical knowledge of the Distribution/Retail industry
  • Strong time management and organization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Highly desirable are certifications in one or more of the following: Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), InfoSys Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP/CISSP), InfoSys Security Management Professional (ISSMP/CISSP), InfoSys Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP/CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
