As the Advertising Marketing Specialist for the B2B division of Staples, you will focus primarily on driving results with PPC advertising using Google Adwords, digital advertising placements, retargeting campaigns as well as out of home media advertising. You’ll produce positive results in month-to-month metrics and drive digital media to support growth in leads and conversion.
Additionally, you’ll support our SEO optimization efforts by identifying and implementing SEO strategies to support growth of organic traffic to our website through improved search rankings.
Responsible for developing and implementing pay-per-click media strategies and campaigns for search and display advertising.
Perform daily account management of all PPC campaigns.
Analyze key data in google analytics and other platforms to determine areas of opportunity and improve costs/conversions.
Work with the creative team/agency to develop landing pages and creative assets for campaigns where necessary.
Manage out of home/sports marketing campaigns – working with agency on appropriate creative for multiple vehicles.
Liase with marketing team to determine offers that will drive leads in all print, digital and out of home ad campaigns.
Identify new opportunities to increase our presence in additional marketplaces.
Implement SEO best practices on Wordpress website.
Educate content writers to properly apply SEO techniques to website copy, blog articles, etc.
Continually perform enhancements to web copy to improve rankings. QualificationsQualifications and Skills
Must be passionate about internet marketing.
3-5 years experience in digital marketing which includes PPC, SEO and digital marketing campaign management
Must be organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and campaigns.
Follows trends and keeps up to date in digital marketing
Ability to analyze and draw conclusions from large amounts of data
Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, media or other applicable degree.
Google Adwords Certified (completed or in progress).
Advanced level of proficiency with Google Analytics
Bilingual would be considered an asset.
