- Manages & expands Staples Promotional Product’s relationship with individual customers within the Automotive Vertical Market accounts.
- Develops and cultivates relationships through regular FSRs contact over the phone/email/in-person to drive sales.
- Fields product questions, specific to client's branded promotional merchandise and gift needs
- Works on sales, loyalty, and consumer marketing promotions and projects to drive revenue for targeted buyers
- Proactively provides creative product sourcing ideas in support of customer marketing objectives or sponsorships to include PowerPoint content and preparation
- Manages, implements and provides direction and support to all internal departments and FSR’s on outbound marketing projects to gain market share & build awareness within existing accounts/programs for branded merchandise and gifts
- Attends client calls and establishes strong relationships within targeted accounts.
- Directly handles all incoming quote requests under $10,000 for all accounts with support from the Account Managers & Automotive Vertical Manager

- Completes order-entry form to submit order requests to Special Order Team
- Maintains accurate sales reporting of assigned client customers
- Maintains and increases margins within client and department guidelines
- Ensures customer satisfaction by working with members of the Automotive Vertical sales team as well as members of sales support teams across the business
- Improved communication and sales to both internal and external buyers and assisting the Automotive Vertical team to meet revenue and margin goals for the accounts
- Responds immediately to inquiries, issues and customer complaints
- Increases sales by staying current with new products and trends
- Researches and prepares quotes to ensure maximum profit and market competitiveness
- Accountable for team sales and profit goals
- Maintains a record of sales activities and follow-up requirements in the designated system
- Assists in the development and maintenance of the SPP brand by utilizing promotional materials to introduce and increase customer knowledge of SPP in the Canadian market
- Adds value to the customer experience by developing a thorough understanding of their business, project and/or operational requirements.
- Advises the customer on the best product(s) to accomplish objectives and recommends discounts and/or custom solutions.
- Provides creative solutions to exceed the customer expectations.
- Contributes to the team effort by participating in the sales team calls/meetings, sharing of best practices, product ideas, and success stories, collaborating on proposal development and consultative selling techniques.
- Provides team coverage upon request
- Provides administrative support to the Automotive Vertical Manager upon request (ie: sample orders, quotes, order-forms, presentations, report summaries, etc.)
