The Senior Manager Financial Planning & Analysis leads a team dedicated to providing analytical support and business insights for the PRO Category business units.  This role will work directly with the leaders of the Furniture, Facilities, Tech and Print businesses to help drive deeper understandings of business performance and trends, as well, ensure businesses are performing in line with expected profit targets and proactively suggesting remedies or alternative strategies should they be needed.


In order to be successful in this role, the Senior Manager will need to be a dynamic self-starter with the ability to establish strong working relationships with the PRO category leaders that result in open, active lines of communication.  In addition, it is expected that this person will be the primary contact with SBA Sr. Leadership and should be able to effectively communicate business trends and results at that level.

Key Business Responsibilities
  • Develop annual budget plans
  • Collaboratively build monthly forecast
  • Create business unit performance summaries for inclusion in month end reporting / business reviews
  • Partner with PRO leadership to identify key business trends and provide supportive analytics that drive and influence business performance
  • Establish and manage business specific Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Think analytically, focus on the big picture, and be able to drill into the detail and disseminate key insights
  • Serve as a Finance thought leader – build financial models that can predict outcomes reliably and accurately
  • Provide general and ad hoc analytic support to the business units
  • Quickly adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining focus on multiple business responsibilities
  • Communicate results and concepts efficiently and effectively to a senior level audience

Management/Leadership Responsibility

  • Manage team and work to address talent management, resource planning, etc.
  • Create a culture of success
  • Provide support, training, mentoring, and development to staff on an ongoing basis to ensure the department performs at a maximum level.
  • Guide and influence people, processes, and resources to support the best interest of the business.
  • Build trusting relationships with business leaders and partners
  • Proactively address and independently guide problem solving efforts.


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field
  • 10 or more years of progressive finance experience
  • At least 5 years  of progressive management experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with Business Unit, Finance partners, and Executive Leadership
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent attention to detail required
  • Advanced presentation skills for educating internal business partners on emerging trends for Service & Expense and presenting to the Executive Leadership team
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
  • MBA or master’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience synthesizing complex results into communicable insights.
