Description

Product Manager/Business Analyst

  • The Product Manager will be the single point of contact for several functional business partners, owning the entire “portfolio” of Salesforce.com demand for that business partner, including identification and prioritization of those requests within each team.
  • Strategically drive business requirements for Salesforce.com initiatives working with your  business teams to prioritize their demand and help them think through the most scalable solution.
  • Provide business perspective and direction to the technical team during design phases.
  • Coordinate communication between project team and business.
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of requirements and business process documentation
  • Enter project and key requirements into VersionOne in the form of user stories with requirements and success/UAT criteria.
  • Partner with Quality Management in the creation and execution of the project Test Strategy.
  • Assume ownership of User Acceptance Testing and provide business approval for launch.
  • Where applicable, oversee the implementation of smaller projects including communication to internal and external groups about the new features/releases and “Training the Trainers”. (Larger projects will use a Project Manager)
  • Responsible for overall Change Management strategy, including communications plan and templates to support releases.
  • The Product Manager works closely with the Salesforce.com Solutions Consultant and Business Manager to collaborate on the functionality ask from your business partners to determine does it already exist and can be leveraged, do we need to develop net new, if so what should the solution look like, can other business use it; all to develop scalable functionality that supports the end to end sales process. Also identifies the potential impact of enhancement requests across all groups.
  • Understand the use of SFDC to facilitate requirements gathering sessions, and be consultative to business partners on how their requests may be implemented.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Skills:

  • 5 years Business Analyst/ project management experience
  • Must be able to juggle multiple projects and business partners at one time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Strong organization skills
  • Be able to work with and create strong relationships with IT and multiple business partners
  • 2-5 years business/IT consulting experience
  • 3-5 years Salesforce.com experience

Desired Skills:

  • BA/BS Business or Computer Information Systems
