Position Summary: 

The Pricing and Contract Administrator will provide analytical support for our internal Contract Commercial Pricing organization (Sales Team, Management, Accounting, Purchasing) using company ERP systems, Excel, Salesforce, etc. This position will be the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for all company pricing programs, ensure all programs set up/implemented correctly and manage all legal contract implementations.

Primary Responsibilities:     
  • Responsible for managing, documenting, and implementing all customer, product, vendor program and pricing data in company ERP system(s) to ensure the company receives all special pricing and programs and the correct customers are set up properly to receive special pricing/programs.
  • Runs usage reports and works with vendors to extend special pricing and programs, implements, and communicates with Sales Team. 
  • Identifies and compiles reports of pricing/costing problems for management review and resolution.
  • Responsible for Purchasing Document Management. Must be able to read, implement, and close out legal contracts. Works within Salesforce.com to manage pricing and contract processes. 
  • Works with program owners to ensure all pricing, programs, processes are in place and assists in reporting.
  • Updates customer profiles, pricing, costing, and product data for contract items in company ERP system(s).   Responsible for running reports and implementing pricing/costing changes to ensure gross margin standards are achieved. 
  • Provides custom reporting to vendors, management, and sales team as needed. 
  • Drives process improvements and policies, creates process documents, and communicates and trains others on these processes. 
  • Assist / lead special projects, project management, ad hoc analysis etc. 

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
  • 3-6 years of experience
  • Strong computer skills: working knowledge of MS Office, especially advanced Excel skills, keen acumen to learn and improve internal computer systems, excellent keyboarding skill

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and financial abilities, attention to detail and ability to follow through with conclusions
  • Demonstrates strong organizational, interpersonal and analytical/problem solving skills combined with a team first attitude 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balance workload effectively, assess need for immediate action and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a team environment yet be self-directed, proactive, and action-oriented
  • Keen business acumen to manage and set up the special pricing and programs
